Why we built HiveOS
After 150+ agents in production, we had a boring but costly problem: each client had its own dashboard, its own logs, its own way to know whether the agent was running or falling over at 3am. We were the ones carrying the pager.
HiveOS started as our internal tool to orchestrate, monitor, and debug 150 agents without losing our minds. Unified observability, eval harness, centralized guardrails, role-based access. We built it for us.
After 6 months, 3 clients asked for the tool. It doesn't need to be sold with slides — it's needed for the same reason Stripe built its own dashboard: managing infrastructure without your own observability is a tax on engineering time that nobody pays happily.
